Knowledge
- Understanding of various testing methodologies, such as black-box testing, white-box testing, and gray-box testing.
- Experience with manual and automated testing approaches.
- Ability to design comprehensive and effective test cases to ensure thorough coverage of the software.
- Proficient in documenting test cases, test plans, and test results.
- Proficiency in web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Understanding of how web browsers work and their compatibility issues.
- Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or other relevant tools for web application testing.
- Experience with bug tracking tools, such as Jira or Bugzilla.
- Knowledge of testing web applications across different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.) and platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Understanding of mobile testing concepts and experience testing web applications on various mobile devices and platforms.
- Knowledge of API testing tools and techniques, including the ability to test RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.
- Ability to analyze complex systems, identify issues, and propose effective solutions.
- Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, testing techniques, and tools.
- Awareness of security testing principles and practices, including knowledge of common security vulnerabilities in web applications is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems like Git for code collaboration and tracking changes is a plus.
